We're taking part in the Krazy Kosci Klimb!
It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for people living with cerebral palsy to reach the top of Australia!
We would love to have your support.
Your support of the Krazy Kosci Klimb will provide essential funding for the Accessible Gym and Sports Program at Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
Our Krazy Kosci Journey
So James was born prematurley at 35 weeks, and is the only child of myself and dad, who at the time lived in the UK.
James was diagnosed with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy at 20 months of age. Doctors in the UK told us he would likely not walk unassisted, and would need a walker or a wheelchair to get around. The healthcare system in the UK is a little different and we engaged a private physiotherapist and we did 1-2 hours a day phyisio with James. At two and a half he took his first steps!
Shortly after we moved from the UK to Australia and engaged the services of Cerebral Palsy Alliance. CPA have supported us every step of the way to get James to where he is today. He can walk, run, swim and has just got his junior black belt in karate, after 4 years of training.
James will be one of the youngest to ever take on the challenge of the Krazy Kosci Klimb, and is very excited to be taking on such a big challenge.
We hope you can help us raise money to help other kids like James live their best life whilst living with Cerebral Palsy!
