Providing opportunities to young people with a disability

Over the last twelve years, this unique event has provided the opportunity for over 165 young people with disability, to challenge themselves and go beyond their best.

Thanks to the support of generous people, over $2.5 million has been raised, providing not only the essential funding for the Health and Wellbeing Program at Cerebral Palsy Alliance, but opportunity and independence for young adults with disability. In 2024 the amazing teams raised over $568,000 for kids living with cerebral palsy.

The 2024 event fundraising efforts are focusing on enhancing community spaces with ongoing projects such as the resurfacing of the Allambie playground, essential for young kids' sports programs, alongside the revitalisation of the Allambie sports court and the addition of shade cloth for improved comfort and safety. Looking ahead to 2024. We have already procured a specialised vehicle to efficiently transport sports equipment for our Sports Programs! We're also expanding our reach with the establishment of new Community Program Area (CPA) sites in Roselands and Newcastle. These vibrant multipurpose spaces will foster community engagement and promote wellness programs, clients will have access to a wide range of evidence-based therapies, services, programs, innovative technology and equipment to improve and enhance the lives of people with disability and meet the growing demand for services in the region, including sports programs.
