Why do Krazy Kosci teams Fundraise?

Funds raised by Krazy Kosci Klimb teams and their families, friend, colleagues and clients support the Sports Programs and accessible gym at Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

The funds ensure these programs continue and offer young people the opportunity to attend these programs at either no cost or minimal cost.

Helping young people access the sporting programs and the accessible gyms at Cerebral Palsy Alliance assist them with increased flexibility, mobility, muscle strength and stamina.  Together with the social benefits and increased self-esteem, these facilities bring like-minded individuals together to improved their quality of life and go on to achieve great things in life.

The Sports Program for young people is unique to Cerebral Palsy Alliance and without the funds from the Krazy Kosci Klimb these may not be possible.

Media Release Information

Now in its 9th year, the Krazy Kosci Klimb is a unique event that brings young people with disability together to achieve a seemingly unachievable challenge. This event will see a team of family, friends, corporate sponsors and Cerebral Palsy Alliance staff walk as one to complete the 18km roundtrip to the summit of Mt Kosciusko.

Held in the month of February in the Snowy Mountains, more than 200 people will gather to walk, challenge themselves and reflect on what they are achieving on this life changing day. It is an empowering event not just for the lead participant with a disability but for the team and all the support staff on the day.  Everybody comes together for a united goal.
