We're taking part in the Krazy Kosci Klimb!
Michael, Carolyn, John, Glen and Jackson.
It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for people living with cerebral palsy to reach the top of Australia!
We would love to have your support.
Your support of the Krazy Kosci Klimb will provide essential funding for the Accessible Gym and Sports Program at Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
Our Krazy Kosci Journey
Yay we have our uniforms and all the team together!!
Last night at Sydney was very exciting. My big brother Glen came to join our team members to receive our Sponsored jackets for the climb. I know he will give me lots of support and we are all excited to make the trek together. Don't we look great!
Michael was fresh out of High School when he started volunteering at Meals on Wheels Toronto. He has been there almost every Monday since and this week was presented with an Award for 20 Years Service by Greg Piper MP. After some retirements he is now the longest serving volunteer in the area. It's in his blood to help people, and loves every minute.
Onwards and Upwards for Michael
Michael had the honour of being selected in February to carry the Commonwealth Games Torch for the Hunter. He was inspired that day by meeting the wonderful Kurt Fearnley and his walk turned into a run and a dance! Being part of a big event gives you wings and Michael has now turned his goals towards going higher - all the way to the top of Australia. He is so thankful to Cerebral Palsy Alliance for their training and support, and also to his corporate sponsors A & P Plumbing for backing him to go all the way.
