We're taking part in the Krazy Kosci Klimb!
The Krazy Kosci Klimb enables a young child with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and their family to hike from Charlotte's Pass to the Summit of Mount Kosciuszko and back, totaling 18.4kms. TNA Solutions is the proud sponsor of 'Team Amelia' and will be hiking alongside Amelia and her family to give moral and physical support as required.
Amelia is 15 years old and has never taken on a challenge like this. She was diagnosed as a baby with left sided Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy which affects her left foot and ankle muscles, making physical activities quite painful. She has also experienced a brain tumor requiring 2 surgeries (one at just 2 weeks old), epilepsy and has had learning and cognitive difficulties as a result of her CP. None of that will stop this determined young girl who is aiming to conquer Kosci completely unaided (apart from encouragement and good vibes from her team)!
Through the support of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance's (CPA) therapy and sports programs, Amelia was able to participate and thrive in activities she otherwise would not have had access to. She is now very passionate about sport, particularly football so we will all be dressing up in her team's colours for the walk - the Parramatta Eels!
Please donate to support Amelia and her family as they take on this once in a lifetime challenge to climb to the top of Australia. Money raised will provide essential funding for the Accessible Gym Equipment and Sports Programs at CPA which allow so many young Australians inclusive access to sport.
